Dogwood Village of Orange County offers professional nursing services with an excellent staff-to-resident ratio, which allows for quality individualized care. Therapeutic and recreational activities are provided by certified activity professionals.
Social workers coordinate admissions and discharges and assist with emotional, spiritual and social adjustments. Residents are afforded dining opportunities in several dining areas and are provided assistance if needed.
A registered dietitian is available for consultation on any nutritional needs. Food items brought to the facility by visitors and family is permitted and facility staff will strive to balance resident choice and a home-like environment with the nutritional and safety needs of each resident. Prior to giving residents food items, please check-in with the nurse responsible for the resident on their unit.
If recovering from surgery, stroke, joint replacement, fracture, accident or any other condition requiring rehabilitation services, we can provide the evaluation and treatment necessary to meet your rehabilitation goals. Skilled nursing care is provided to qualifying residents. Residents participate in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy as determined by their admitting physician.
